What happened during this celebration?
On 22nd November 2024, The Newton Group hosted the warmhearted “Celebration of Success in Delivering BTEC Level 3-5,” event here on our premises. Our students from Newton Business School, The Apprentice Business School and Open School joined together for this special occasion celebrating goodness and the launch of NewEd BTEC Level 3 – now accredited by Thailand’s Central Admission System (TCAS) and allowing students to use BTEC Level 3 as an equivalent to Thai M.6 and A-Level qualifications to apply to over 80 universities – alongside our current BTEC Level 4 and 5.
This momentous function was opened by the Chairman of The Newton Group and Former Minister of Education of Thailand, Dr Teerakiat Jareonsettasin.

Why is this so important and significant?
Moving forward, the future looks bright from this motivating gathering, as our students are benefiting from a challenging and dynamic British curriculum and many of our Graduates have already proceeded to study at our progression partner universities in England – University of Essex, Anglia Ruskin University and Oxford Brookes University.
This event is significant because The Newton Group is currently the largest provider of the UK’s Pearson BTEC curriculum in Thailand! A wonderful achievement.
BTEC Higher Nationals – such as the BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business delivered at Newton Business School – are internationally recognised Higher Education qualifications at Level 4 and 5 which are the equivalent to the first and second years of a university degree.
