It has been a busy and productive time as we get ready for the new 2024-2025 Academic Year!
NBS Summer Camp workshop
On Thursday 8 August 2024, the Newton Business School team hosted a Summer Camp Workshop.
We ran an interactive activity based on the Marketing Mix’s 4Ps, and anchored this to the exciting new brand that many people in Bangkok and Thailand are talking about – Butterbear!
The purpose of this workshop was to give prospective students a taste of what they can expect from learning at and being a student at Newton Business School, as well as speak to the supervisors. It was certainly a special afternoon for all prospective students who attended.
NBS Parent Orientation
On Thursday 15 August 2024, we were pleased to welcome parents to an orientation – this was an opportunity to brief parents on what to expect from the year ahead, and for us to answer their questions.
Key information was shared with parents on the ways in which academic excellence and character development are combined, as well as the exciting pathways that NBS students can pursue once they graduate from Newton. These include well-designed routes to final year entry at the University of Essex, Anglia Ruskin University and Oxford Brookes University in the UK, as well as other pathways to Switzerland and Australia.
P’Mint introduced the diverse range of units taught at Newton Business School, to inform parents of what their children will be studying and what to expect. Mr Jason highlighted the strategic fit between NBS students studying here at Newton whilst following the British Pearson BTEC Curriculum, and gave a summary of what students can expect when proceeding to Higher Education in Britain. Finally, P’KJ explained the extensive level of support and care on offer from the Care Supervisor team.
